  How to check Wire Mesh
     
   
     

The most simple way to check wire mesh or specify mesh size is to measure the square opening of a mesh in one linear inch (running inch). This can be done by using the method shown in figure 1.1, Or with the help of mesh counting lens fig.1.2 , fine mesh microscope shown in fig. 1.3.

 
     
  Some important formulas  
  Open Area = w2 x 100/ (w+d) 2

Where,
W = sieve opening in mm
D = dia of wire in mm

Aperture(sieve opening)=(1/m d)

Where,
M = mesh size.
